Community Guidelines (Free Beta)

Sooda is a space where teachers and students respect one another and share Korean learning. So that everyone can take lessons safely and enjoyably during the free Beta Period (July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026), Sangjun Song (the "Operator") has established the following community guidelines. All users of the Service must comply with them.

1. Respect One Another

  • Please respect the dignity of others and be courteous.
  • Discrimination or hate speech based on race, nationality, gender, religion, age, disability, or similar grounds is prohibited.
  • Profanity, insults, threats, and harassment are not permitted under any circumstances.

2. A Safe Learning Environment

  • Lessons must be conducted in line with their purpose of Korean learning.
  • Sexual remarks, inappropriate exposure of the body, and other acts that make others uncomfortable are prohibited.
  • Only persons aged 18 or older may use the Service.

3. Honest Information

  • Please provide truthful information about yourself, including your profile, self-introduction, languages, and native-speaker status.
  • Impersonating others or posting false information is prohibited.

4. Privacy and No Recording

  • Collecting, storing, or externally sharing another user's personal information (contacts, photos, etc.) without consent is prohibited.
  • Recording a lesson's screen or audio, or transmitting it to any third party, is prohibited. The Operator (Sooda) likewise does not record or store lessons.

5. No Outside Transactions or Solicitation

  • Steering other users to outside contacts (e.g., messaging apps, email) or to outside payments or platforms is prohibited.
  • The beta is free and has no in-service payments. Do not request money or steer anyone to outside payment.
  • Spam, advertising, and unauthorized redirection to external services are prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Sharing illegal content or soliciting illegal activity
  • Infringing the rights of others, including copyright
  • Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of the Service

7. Reporting and Action

  1. If you find a violation of these guidelines, please report it to kedu202606@gmail.com.
  2. The Operator may review the report and take necessary action, including warnings, content removal, suspension of use, and termination of the agreement.
  3. The standards and procedures follow the Terms of Service.

8. A Beta We Build Together
