What is Sooda?

Sooda is a platform for learning Korean through 1:1 video lessons with verified native teachers. Wherever you live, lesson times show up in your own timezone — pick a slot, book in a few clicks, and meet your teacher in the video room.

Why we built it

More people than ever want to learn Korean alongside K-content, but textbooks and apps alone rarely get you speaking. A language grows through real conversations with real people.

That's where our name comes from: sooda (수다) is Korean for casual chat. We believe a relaxed conversation with a native teacher — not an intimidating class — is the best way to learn Korean.

We're in beta

Sooda is currently in beta and free to use. We are building the service together with our early users, shaping it around their feedback.
